Ms. Gasaway really dug in and helped me through a really trying time in my life. My ex husband was/is abusing drugs, and directly impacted my son's life. He would buy drugs instead of paying child support, and it created a financial hardship for my son and myself. I paid to consult with ms. Gasaway for legal representation for a contested divorce. For a fee of $6000.00 plus an additional $1000.00 for paperwork and court costs she promised me swift results. After that initial meeting I could only meet with her paralegals. I was told that a court date would be s...et soon for child custody hearings. After a couple months I contacted her office for answers because nothing was happening only to speak to her paralegal and be informed that ms Gasaway has been busy with a big case in another town. By this time my wife and I decided to drop our divorce and mend our marriage. Her lack of interest in my best interests gave me a lack of confidence in getting what I was promised. I asked for any refund to the reply of a check for less than a couple hundred dollars. I feel like once she was paid upfront like she asked attitude changed.
