This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
Public reprimand means the attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar warns the lawyer in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.
Carin’s comment: “Both of these cases were initiated over 2 years ago and were both High Conflict Custody cases. In both cases, I exchanged hundreds of emails and phone calls with the clients. Neither client was happy with the Judge's rulings, and thus filed Bar Complaints. I consented to Judgment because, due to the sudden death of my paralegal, was unsure of what communication was or was net relayed. I am happy to discuss this issue with any current or potential client in person.”
