State of Florida v. J.W.

Stephen Corrigan Higgins

Case Conclusion Date: May 6, 2008

Practice Area: DUI / DWI

Outcome: Case Dismissed!

Description: Defendant was charged with DUI after being stopped for 'failing to maintain a single lane.' After he failed the field sobriety excercises, defendant was arrested and later provided breath samples of .164 and .171, more than twice the legal limit. Counsel for the defense filed a Motion to Suppress the stop based on the lack of video surveillance showing any driving pattern indicating impairment. After cross examination of the Deputy, Stephen was able to get the stop suppressed and the case was dismissed!
