Dedicated to his work

Mr. Raticoff was my attorney in a very delicate trial. His professionalism along with his dedication found me not guilty. His research and his willingness to listen to his clients make him one of the best attorneys in Broward County. This is one lawyer you want on your side.

Relationship: Co-worker

"I endorse this lawyer. Known him since 1988 when he was a partner at Washor & Raticoff in Ft. Lauderdale. For 4 and 1/2 years I worked in the same office building he shared with my former bosses the Langes. I'd seen Bruce in his best personal moments and his worst. Always a pro. He specialized and probably still specializes in serious drug cases and homicides. I remember he had one case he handled back in 1988 or 89 that involved the Cloth World Arson Murders. He was a special public defender representing a guy named Henry who robbed the store he worked at after hours and burned two women alive. One lived long enough to give a taped statement, and that was a major evidentiary battle. Though his client was charged with a gruesome, heinous, brutal crime Bruce handled the case professionally. Bruce is one of the best out there"

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
