I am originally from Gulfport, Mississippi. I attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) for my undergraduate studies, and I received my law degree from Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi. Shortly after graduation I moved to the Emerald Coast. I began working as an Assistant State Attorney for the Office of the State Attorney, First Judicial Circuit. I worked in this capacity as a prosecutor for approximately 14 months before joining my current law firm, Cotton & Gates.
I devote close to half of my practice to criminal defense including DUI/BUI and other offenses that the State has charged. The other half of my practice includes civil litigation and personal injury/products liability and the like.
