About me

A native of Florida, I attended the University of Miami, graduating with honors.  Thereafter, I attended Florida State University College of Law, graduating in 1974.  My career began with the Broward County State Attorney's Office, where I became the Chief Trial Assistant and assigned to the Homicide Division before I was 27 years of age.  I left the State Attorney's Office to be in private practice, specializing in criminal defense, defending those accused of serious criminal charges in both the state and federal courts. In 1989, I joined the Volusia County State Attorney's Office as the Chief Homicide Prosecutor and personally prosecuted 53 first-degree murder cases in addition to overseeing thousands of criminal prosecutions as the Chief of the Trial Division. Upon leaving the State Attorney's Office, I have continued to specialize in the defense of serious criminal accusations and successfully defended thousands of clients, protecting their constitutional rights and affording them the highest standard of representation possible. I am proud to have had the opportunity to represent those clients who have placed their faith in me.
