We hired Mr. King to represent my husband who was charged with Felony Murder along with 13 additional charges in Clayton County, GA. We were certain of my husbands innocence and we wanted to ensure that we employed the best legal defense possible. We interviewed several of Atlanta's best "super lawyers" and decided to hire Mr. King. I am so happy we did! Mr. King's performance in the court room was nothing short of astounding. He cross-examined the state's witnesses with grace and tact as he meticulously uncovered holes in the prosecutions's theory. At the end of the trial the jury delivered a unanimous verdict of "Not Guilty on All Counts." I would definitely recommend Mr. King to represent me in any serious legal matter.
I have known and used Mr. King and his firm for the past two years. He is very knowledgeable and an expert with law. Mr. King uses every element of the law to fight for his clients. Mr. King is flexible with payment arrangements. He will work with you and does not allow money to dictate how he handles your case; however he will be slow to respond to requests if you fail to pay as arraigned.
I was unsatisfied with the service i received from Mr. King. He was very slow to responding to any questions and concerns I had regarding my case. Always unavailable, never prepared for hearings. I was always on edge , never at ease. This has been the worst experience thus far.
Don't expect too much. He talks about providing great customer service and catering to the needs of your case but falls short to your expectations. Communication is not a strong suit. Did not feel at ease with him handling my case.
He provided me with all my legal options regarding a concern that was presented to me. I appreciated the time he made for me to discuss my case and to advise me on the best course of action. He is my go-to-attorney for all my questions. You cannot go wrong with Mr. King.
Mr. King did an excellent job with my case. His diligence and knowledge as well as his charismatic personality helped get my charges reduced. The reduction in charges was huge because the original charge could have jeopardized my careerS. As well being solid in the courtroom and as a lawyer, Mr. King is a stand-up gentleman who also was willing to work with me on his fees because of my employment and personal situation. I am truly grateful to Mr. King for his effort and all that he has done for me over the past year and a half. I STRONGLY recommend him to anyone looking for legal counsel. In fact, he is currently working with a couple of my associates and colleagues and will be assisting me with another matter in the near future. I have thanked him numerously, but now I am thanking him on a public stage, thanks again Kimani for all that you did.
Unfortunately my daughter needed a criminal defense attorney this past year. She was charged with 4 felonies and after being incarcerated for 3 months with no bond I was able to meet with Mr. King and knew immediately this was who my daughter needed to represent her in these matters. When he speaks it is with ease and dignity, has a wealth of knowledge as a former DA and we were always kept up to date on my daughter's case. Because of the hard work of Mr. King my daughter's charges were dropped and we have been able to go on with our lives. This man has made this possible. I can not stress enough the ability and caring he has shown throughout this ordeal. In addition his staff is responsive and caring as well which reflects his leadership. He will forever be in my prayers!
I am happy to have a chance to review this attorney because his efforts on my behalf were outstanding. I was unjustly charged with crime and because of his past experience with the district attorneys office, he was right about everything when he told me how this case would most likely go. His instincts were right on and throughtout the entire case he was confident, and reassuring without making any promises. He was available when I needed to reach him or else returned all calls in a timely manner. The charges against me were eventually dropped, and I have no doubt that Mr. King's efforts in the courtroom are the reason why.
I hired Mr. King for one of the most important court trials of my life and while I do understand that even the best attorneys do not always win cases, I feel that our team lost because of my attorney's lack of experience. He was professional; however, he did not make objections when he should have, he almost caused us to miss out on the opportunity to have access to the trial transcripts, and he apparently does not know yet what is admissible as evidence in court. I am considerate of our lack of adequate time for preparation for my case; however, I know that a more experienced attorney would have had a more pragmatic approach and exhibited the highest quality representation no matter what. In the future, I will more appropriately assess my attorneys by requiring to see their undergraduate and law school transcripts. The best lawyers understand logic, problem-solving, critical thinking, and how to quickly readjust if their methodology is proving to be ineffective. I don't know Mr. King's class ranking or performance in those courses, but I experienced a lack of high quality in those areas when he represented me in court. He did not display a hard work ethic and the drive that I needed for my attorney to have in and out of court in terms of preparation, research, and arguing on court. He is not familiar with judges in my county. He may be more familiar with those in the county in which he was employed the longest. That also hurt us in court. He did make the necessary adjustments when he clearly saw the judge getting agitated with his obvious lack of experience. My attorney did not follow through on specific tasks that he promised to complete and there was no follow up with me. I had to call him if I needed to inquire about the progress or lack thereof on my case. He always seemed as if he was searching for the file and viewing it for the first time. It was as if he only thought about my case if I called him to ask about it. He is a good and honest person and I could tell that he has good morals, so his character is excellent. He would most likely make a good friend, but I cannot say the same in regards to my confidence in him as an attorney for criminal cases and basic civil cases. I've never witnessed him litigate auto accident cases in court, but based on my experience as one of his former clients, I do not trust in his ability to defend me in court or provide me with the highest quality legal representation. I wish him the best and much success. I decided to terminate my agreement with him and I opted for an attorney who has far greater experienced, a top law school graduate who ranked high in her graduating class, has experience in courtrooms in more than eight different counties in Georgia, and who has the integrity that I need at this time. Mr. King would greatly benefit from a mentoring relationship with a more experienced attorney so that he can quickly and efficiently develop solid plans of action before going to court with his clients and the ability to regroup after a trial and derive a new plan if necessary.
