I called this firm to help my then boyfriend (now my husband) last year. Adriana Perez is the person who "helped" me (if you can call it that}. She did not seem to be very knowledgable. She told me one thing and another happened. She took my money saying she would go to the bond hearing and thought she could get him either no bond or $5000 bond. I would up with a $15,000 bond. I do not feel like she spoke up to the judge for him at all. my husband did more talking than she did. she also said she would go to his main court date when it came up after bond. at the start of this all she said what i paid her would include his main hearing after the bond hearing. NOT SO!!!! After one week and doing NOTHING besides standing at the bond hearing and letting my husband do the talking , she decided to change attorneys to someone i felt had more knowledge. when i ask for a refund of a portion of the large amount of money I paid her, she sent mean email saying all the money was used up and she felt I actually owed her something. She charged me for every phone conversation actually. There is no way I owed her more money and there is no way all theoney I paid her could be gone in once week when she did NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!! She claims she helped me get him out on bond but all she did was give me the name of a bond company I had to call myself......... it is my opinion n that Mrs. Perez is not a good attorney at all and that she just sat done and wrote down charges to make it look like all the money I gave her was used up in a week!!!!! I felt taken advantage of.. She took my money and did NOTHING FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!... I then sent several emails to Romy Kapoor regarding this. He never bothered to respond.... In his Bio he says he had customer service instilled in him from his department stors jobs he had when he was young. Well, If this is what Romy Kapoor calls good customer service, then he needs to go back to his department store job to get some more training in customer service........... I would never use this firm again or recommend anyone else do so either.............. -

Kapoor Law Firm has very knowledgable, intelligent and efficient.

He delegated my case to his legal assistant who made spelling errors on my child name three times. His rates are less than others but you get what you pay for. In my I140 filing they did not submit basic documentation which prompted an RFE, possibly because he wanted more money from my family. When the RFE did come, it came while my I140 was pending, and I had been laid off. He agreed to meet with me, and at the meeting he told me THAT MY CASE WAS DEAD. He also said that there is no such thing as invoking AC21 and that the best thing was EITHER to drag the case out for as long as possible, or start from scratch. Bottomline, he wanted another 10k from me. I pleaded with him to do what he could do to help and he said that, there was nothing that could be done, and he already told me what my options were. This man has no LOVE. In the end I fired him, hired KAREN WEINSTOCK AT SUSKIND SUSSER. They responded to the RFE and the case was approved in 4 working days.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOU HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THIS LAWYER, HE HAS NO HEART.

i applied for h1b and green card thru mr. kapoor. he was referred to me by a common friend.
the fee was very reasonable (though they went up quite a bit last year).
the people working at the office were mostly indifferent, not very helpful.
but the worst part was trying to get in touch with the person who he delegated my case. there were times that i called and emailed 5 times and could not get in touch with this person. in had to threaten to withhold the payment to get kapoor's attention. he underling did not know what was going on, messed up my files, and gave wrong information.
overall, at the old fee, romy is worth every penny. he knows the h1b and green cards ins-and-outs. but, if i were you, i would tell him that i want to deal with him directly, not with anyone else.

I HATE HIM. WASTING MORE THAN 3K. ONLY TALKED WITH ME TWICE AND EACH LASTED LESS THAN 20 MINS.
