I was doing a search for an attorney who was knowledgeable about the hospitality industry and could help me create a contract for use for an internet-based travel company. All I can say is : we hit the jack-pot. Tom is an amazing attorney : very intelligent, creative, responsive, thoughtful and talented. I could fill out pages of recommendations about him.

Tom's ability to think like an entreprenuer and his focus on "the end in mind" has led to multiple succesful projects where he represented my company in our organic and M&A expansion. Whether it involved real estate, construction, or merger/acquisition, he's been a great resource over the years!

On more than one occasion, Tom has provided me with expert counsel in connection with executive compensation issues, when I have entered into employment agreements with new companies and also as I have departed companies in transition. Tom has advised me in connection with several entrepreneurial opportunities as well. He has shown a high level of expertise and understanding and has been a cost effective legal advisor. Tom took the time to thoroughly understand our corporate objectives, investor needs, and then craft the appropriate structures for both operations and raising capital. Equally important, when discussing areas of our business that were outside his expertise (which was not often), he knew when to bring in other members of his firm. On one particular issue, he was even savvy enough to realize that we needed the representation of a small, local firm that would be better able to negotiate the local politics of that issue. He checks his ego at the door and only recommends the course of action that is best for his client.

Tom McLain has served the companies with which I have been associated for approximately 10 years. His expertise in assisting my colleagues and I in the development of Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, and associated Contracts, has been exemplary, and the success achieved is in no small part due to his experience.
