Arrested in Cobb County, GA, for Schedule II drug possession. Parole officer immediately placed hold and took out parole revocation warrant, and I was held without bond. At probable cause hearing, Richard somehow convinced the Chief Magistrate to set $5,000 bond (despite horrible criminal history and parole hold) and then had the Parole Board to drop it's hold. I was on the street that night!! Some of the guys in the jail house referred to Richard as "Tricky Dick." Now, I know why. BEST LAWYER I EVER HIRED!!

Hired Dick for a Fulton County case where I was charged with stealing a friend's car that I had borrowed but not returned as promised. The car owner did not wish to prosecute me, but the DA refused to drop the case and was threatening a 10 year prison sentence. Dick filed a "waiver of prosecution" that the judge referred to when strongly urging the DA not to waste the court's time. The case was dismissed entirely. Other attorneys told me I was screwed because the DA could force the victim to prosecute, but Dick figured out a way around all that. He saved my life!

In 2009 my girlfriend and I were arrested for trafficking Roxycontins, and the State also seized about 10k in cash taken from my gym bag. Being from Florida, I did not know any local attorneys, but Richard came highly recommended from the guys in my cell block. Richard got my girl and me out on a resonable bond right away and then filed a bunch of motions that eventually forced the prosecutor to drop all the charges against my girl, all the serious charges against me, return my seized money, and sentence me to a few years probation. Best of all, the seized money he forced the state to return covered both our bail money AND all of Richard's legal fees, and even left a thousand for me to get on my feet when I got out. RICHARD IS THE BEST!!!

I called Richard from prison (serving a Cobb Co. sentence with a pending hold for a probation revocation in Cherokee Co.), because I wanted to avoid leaving prison and going back to jail. Richard got some information from me and told me to sit tight while he checked into some things. Next time I called, he told me my probation case had been dismissed and that the hold should have been removed. I checked with my counselor, and sure enough the hold was gone. I don't know what he did because I never even went to court! Richard is a legend in the prison system for his ability to work magic with detainers and probation cases. His retainer is very reasonable. Great attorney!!!

Dick came highly recommended and I retained him to defend me against an employee attempting to extort money from me. Dick requested that I admit to things that were not true in an effort to speed up the case. we lost the case and had to pay out $136,000.
If your looking for a lawyer to work a plea deal Dick is your man but do not go to court with him

Had a pending charge and probation revocations in two counties. Richard worked out a "plea" to all charges and revocations in both counties, with all credit for time served, and I was released on time served without ever having to having to serve any more time than that imposed in the new case!! The District Attorney vehemently opposed Richard proposed plea, but Richard's arguments prevailed. Excellent attorney!!
