Be very careful about this lawyer since she does not have even one case in the Both Circuit and District Courts. Please check the link to find out. http://casesearch.courts.state.md.us/inquiry/inquiry-index.jsp. It means that she has not taken even one case to the court. It would be impossible that she has settled all cases. So she may just collect the consultation fee, and refuse to represent you no matter how good your case are.
During the initial consultation with her, and after she knew the case, I immediately asked her if she was going to represent me. She said yes. If she had said no, I would have left the office right away so that I did not have to pay the whole hour consultation fee.
After 30 mins of our conversation, I asked her again if she was going to take the case, and she did not directly answer me, and I figured out that she was not going to take the case. Just before I left she office, when she knew that I might leave before she could charge more money from me, she said she would take the case on both hourly fee and contingency fee. Before I pay, her front desk person told me that their firm would love to take the case, they worried that I did not want them to represent me in order to get me to pay finally. Luckily, I paid with credit card so that I am going to recruit the money back since my credit card company is going to disabuse the fee.
