She handled my DUI case the best possible way. From the first day she was encouraging me that we'll get the lowest possible fine. And she did it. I got PBJ. I'm supposed to be good and my record will get cleaned within a year. It is difficult to go though this even with the good lawyer like she is, and I even cant imagine how I would have gone though this without a good lawyer as she is.

Rebecca A. Nitkin is an amazing attorney, with a winning streak that is unbelievable. In my opinion, her accomplishments only serve as a reminder of her years of knowledge and experience, matched with dedication. My outcome was that of a nolle prosequi and a completion of my probationary terms with a motion for modification of sentencing. Ms. Nitkin utilized all research options to fight in the defense of my case and outcomed with a more than favorable result. I am exceptional thankful for the representation.

Rebecca Nitkin is as good as it gets in terms of effective and experienced counsel, especially on matters requiring local expertise and understanding the dynamics of the local court's personalities and processes. She is who I affectionately refer to as a "PITBULL in the Courtroom", as her demeanor and personality coupled with insightful legal strategy and litigation experience enable her to attack the prosecution with relentless persuasion. Though I won't go into details about my charges, I will tell you that I was facing two serious misdemeanor crimes and a related traffic offense cumulatively punishable by a 2.5 year jail sentence, roughly 2,700.00 worth of fines and 2 points on my license, but I walked away FREE and CLEAR (NO FEAR, NO FINES, NO TIME). There's not enough that I can say about Rebecca and her staff, but when your back is against the wall and all others say they can't, Nit-CAN!!!

About 10 months ago I found myself in trouble for the first time ever. I had no idea what to do or whom to turn to. I stumbled across Rebecca's website and this very site when I typed in "lawyer in PG county". If only all life savers were as easy as a google search. Rebecca maintains the utmost professional atmosphere at her Rockville office, while making it really easy and comfortable to lay it all out there. For some people my case may of seemed like a small and insignificant 2nd degree assault case, Rebecca saw in my eyes how scared and detrimental this case was to my family and I. The hardest part of the whole experience was waiting, once we were in the court room it became Rebecca's territory in which she owned. The table was filled with documents that she had been preparing for what seemed like weeks and had a counter and answer to anything that was thrown at her. She is easily the fastest person I've ever seen on their feet. Rebecca protected my rights, my future, and my innocents. If you don't pick Rebecca Nitkin you're missing out on the best criminal defense lawyer in the Maryland/DC area.

As you see with all of the reviews here, I cannot say enough good about Rebecca and Kalle.

I hope to never be in need of legal defense again, but if I do there is no question as to where I'll turn. I adore Rebecca and Kalle and everything they did to put my (anxiety-ridden) mind to ease. They were proactive and meticulous. I spread the message every chance I get.

I can tell you with your best interest in mind, no matter who you are or what you're facing, don't shop around... go to Rebecca Nitkin FIRST and save yourself the trouble. I only wish I had not of wasted my time and money on another nearby attorney (for a completely separate criminal matter) first. I try and spread the word as early and often as possible. Rebecca, was the most knowledgable lawyer i have worked with so far. i have worked with 7 lawyers prior. She was on top of her game and was able to find the neccessary holes in the prosecution's case. She was quick on her feet and was able to play into the same story line played by her client (me). She was not only able to see throught the BS, but was also able to turn that BS into information she could use. i had a great experience with Rebecca. I had 3 cases within 3 months and Rebecca was not only able to keep me out of jail but was also able to keep the cost and fines down to a minimum. Rebecca's main office is walking distance from rockville courthouse. But not to take away from her expertise. Not only is she perfisient, if not superb in the court of Montogemry county, she is also just as superb in Howard and other counties in Maryland.

I first got the help of Rebecca when I was 18,and got my first speeding ticket. I got lucky that time because the cop didn't show up and I got out of a $500 ticket. The second time i was not so lucky but thanks to Rebecca i got a much lower fine and less points. when I was 20 i got in to some trouble and got charged with trespassing and burglary. Rebecca knew exactly what i needed to do. I beat the case and got it expunged from my records. I recommend her as a lawyer because she is a very nice person and seems to genuinely care about her clients and she will fight hard for you.

I picked Rebecca, based on my brother in-laws, who works for the county, recommendation. After leaving her office the first time, I was given a list of tasks to do before my court date. She was very insistent that I do them. On court day, since it was my 3rd DUI, the police wanted to give me 30 days in jail. Rebecca was able to talk to the DA and get him to agree to 2 weeks. Upon going before the judge, Rebecca was able to speak to the things she had me do up until the trial. Her speech to the judge was masterful. She also had an expert witness from one of the programs I attend speak to the judge. After all was said and done, the judge gave me no jail time what so ever. I highly recommend Rebecca Nitkin.

I would never consider any other lawyer for my defense. Professionally speaking, she is intuitive, well read, well spoken, incisive, alert, and totally in command of what it is she does. In addition, she happens to be thoughtful and personable- listening to one's concerns, addressing them and scouring over every minute detail of a case. I can only imagine how many clients she has at a given time, though I would never know because she made me feel as though I were her only client and that my case was most important to her. I was charged with multiple drug felonies and after working with Rebecca she was able to get all but 1 of them dropped (not just dropped, they don't even show up on my arrest record anymore) i think the word is aquittal. I was looking at more than 30 years and over $30,000, instead i recieved 1 yr of probation and only had to pay court fees.

While her fees are fair and reasonable, her results in any case are by far the best you will get anywhere. So many lawyers, do not seem to be prepared or have personal interest in their clients. Not here. Attorney Nitkin, quickly obtains the facts of the case and begins to mount and effective formitable defense. Her criminal law knowledge and grasp of the underlying situation is outstanding. She is quick on her feet in court and obtains the absolute best results for her client. She is caring, compassionate and understanding. Ms. Nitkin always makes the best of even very bad situations. If you want results, go to her, send all your friends and family to her, You will be glad you did. I am not kidding or saying this lightly. Criminal casses are not the place to make a mistake, and chosing this attorney will be the best decision you will make in your case and scary situation. I would never go to anyone else and if you care about yourself or the family member in trouble you will pick her too. Finally, her office is directly across from the courthouse on the first floor, what does that tell you?

Great job done for me. Before we got to the sentencing I could never think of a bad outcome. To do so would have made me feel ill. I wasn’t afraid of a little confinement.

What I feared most was having to detox in jail. I brought it up, you brought it up, Dave’s letter brought it up, and even the state didn’t want to cause me such suffering. Well I got that. What a relief! And I got the minimum PRC confinement. I very much feel that I got the absolute minimum sentence that my convictions merited.

I don’t think any attorney could have done any better. I hope I never need to use a criminal defense lawyer again. If I did I wouldn’t hesitate to contact you even though I would be embarrassed about it. I would also recommend you to anyone in such need.

I remember you said that his honor would have to justify sentencing outside the guidelines. I’m glad we gave him plenty of reasons to do so. I hope I never see him again as a defendant. At this time I strongly feel that this will not happen.

You never think it would happen to you. You are top of your professional field. Respected by top attorneys and business people whose business you assist with. You are trusted with all of their private financial documents which you store in your computers. You are so busy that you have to purchase more computers to meet deadlines and inadvertently password protection is neglected initially. Roving perverts download the worst things on unprotected lines which cause masked men with shotguns to enter your home unnanounced and scare you to death while they confiscate your life's work and your client's life's work that has been entrusted to you and is on a tight time table. What do you do? Call Rebecca Nitkin and despite not being able to speak clearly through hysteria, needing to call ten times a day, she and Kalle are there. She got everything back from the federal government in enough time to save the day and charges were, of course, never filed. At the time Ms. Nitkin was a partner in the Firm of Futrovsky, Nitkin and Scherr. It appears that she has gone solo---good for her!

Was extremely nice and was able to help me with my case and got the best possible result I could have hoped for. Was very polite and professional and very competent. Would recommend to anyone who finds themselves in legal trouble.

Rebecca Nitkin is by far the best criminal attorney you could ever want. She is excellent and her results are fantistic. Her knowledge of the law, how she works with the judges and prosecuters cannot be underestimated. I have used her for my son 4 or 5 times over the last several years from when he was a minor until now and every time she produced incredible results.
