Outcome: The case was dismissed. The Court of Appeals later affirmed the dismissal.

Description: The plaintiff was a graduate student who was expelled for falsifying his admission application. He challenged his dismissal from school claiming the University's decision violated his civil rights. We filed a motion to dismiss this case for the University arguing that the facts and applicable law did not permit the plaintiff to challenge the University's academic judgment. We also argued that plaintiff offered no proof at all of any civil rights violations.
