From my first contact with David, he proved to be very knowledgeable, matter-of-fact, and determined to help me with my difficult DUI case. I was referred to him by my previous lawyer, who informed me that if anyone could help me, David could. After talking to him on the phone, David met with me the next day on a day that he wasn't supposed to be in the office, which I appreciated greatly. David believed in me when I told him there was no way the BAC level I was being told was mine was actually mine. He was adamate about proving my belief and came through for me in a HUGE way, the hospital lab admitted their mistake that they had indeed placed my real BAC results under the wrong name. I am exetremly greatful for all his help and would recommend him to anyone who needs a DUI attorney. I feel so much better knowing that I won't have to stress anymore about what going to happen to me and I owe that to David.

From the first time, I spoke with Mr. Manilla he was extremely professional and thorough with his questions. I told him my story and any time things seemed vague he would reiterate that he needs to know all the details so he could help you and understand the situation the best he could. After giving Mr. Manilla all the facts of my case he sat down with me and gave me an in-depth description of the possible consequences, what he recommended I should do, and certain things I would need and should do to help my situation the best I possibly could. Mr. Manilla not only tried to help me with my case he also tried to help better my self as a person. I never had dealt with lawyers before this and seeing how he wanted to help better my life as well as help me with my case was a great feeling as well as reassuring that I picked the right lawyer. He took on my case immediately and I feel like much more has been accomplished in the short time that I have had him working for me than had been accomplished in the prior months with someone else. Mr. Manilla did an excellent job explaining the particulars of my situation. This was the first time I'd ever encountered the law and I was terrified. He made me feel more in control by explaining everything step by step. He is concise and does not BS you, he will tell you how it is regardless of whether or not you want to hear it, and that is refreshing. He couldn't "get me off" as some people on here contend, because the DUI laws are basically black and white, but he helped me a tremendous amount, and I would recommend him highly.

Mr. Manilla is a genuinely good hearted individual.. My Mother has had a ton of medical issues in the past 3 months. That being said I put everything else off, and out of thought. I realized my hearing was QUICKLY approaching and came to him in desperate need of legal advice. I emailed Dave on a Friday evening and had a call back first thing Monday morning. We spoke for about 20 minutest so he could familiarize himself with my case. After doing so he advised me that he could help me but that it wouldn't be a wise decision financially, wow a lawyer that looks out for your best interest not his. After speaking to Dave you can tell he is an intelligent and down to earth guy that will only point you in the right direction, even if he does not benefit from his advice.

Nine years ago I was charged with a D.U.I off of a traffic stop. I spent a few days looking for the best lawyer out there. Dave was the fifth one I met and the one I hired. The few I met before him did not have my best interest in mind. My first meeting with Dave was wonderful, he asked questions that none of the other lawyers would even think of. He went through every little detail of the arrest and citations. Needless to say he picked them apart by finding many makes. To make a long story short all the charges were dropped. He kept me out of jail,i still own my small business and most important I was still able to pay for my mother and fathers health insurance. After nine years I needed Dave again for a bogus PFA order that was brought against me. I called him at nine oclock on a wednesday night and we spoke about this problem for over two hours. David Manilla is an excellent DUI lawyer. I have had multiple DUI's in 2 different states. Yes I'm an idiot. I used a criminal firm that was suppose to be rated #1 by morning radio and I did get favorable results. However, I shopped around for differrent opinions. I was advised that I should use a DUI specialist, but I knew this other firm through recomendations and previous contact. The first lawyer could not even answer all my questions. They said they needed to look into it when even I knew the answers to those questions. When I first phoned Mr. Manilla for a second opinion he spoke with me for almost 45 minutes and didn't even ask me to make an appointment at the time. He knew the answers to all my questions without hesitation and even gave me some defenses that I didn't think of. I will have to admit, I did not want to hear what he explained to me. He let me know what kind of battle i was going to face because this was not my first offense. I had heard of DUI lawyer David Manilla that is why my case is a little different. I knew 2 people he had helped out on DUI'S. For myself I needed help on an Investment Fraud case. I did not think he handled such affairs. I ran into David one day and asked if he knew anyone knowledgeable in such affairs. He immeadiatley took charge and used his expertise and connections to unravel my dilemma. He followed up on everything and guided me in a manner that was extremely professional. I am self employed and times are tough. David wrapped up my issues in record time with no BS or excuses. Most people cringe when they need a lawyer - I DO NOT have that feeling about David Manilla. It is not uncommon for Dave to call me late at night or early in the morning with information pertaining to my case. I have dealt with many attorneys over the years in both professional and personal matters. Many are pompous. Many do not have the characteristic (I'm being polite) to take on the court system. Some of those attorneys do not know issues dealing with their own specialty. You won't find that with David. If you been to a typical courtroom, most attorneys only speak to other attorneys. From the person who delivers the mail to the court clerk, David treats them as a friend. You'd better believe this is good for your case. David has the knowledge to do his profession. However, he gives me confidence when I realize he is willing to learn more if it can better serve his client's interest. Twice I have been accused of DUI. Twice I plead to a misdemeanor. No DUI. I met David Manilla because of my husband's DUI case. My husband was telling me about him and he was telling me how good he is. To be honest I really did not like lawyers and thought they were dishonest people and good liars till I met David Manilla. I would definitely recommend David Manilla for a DUI/DWI attorney. I was on the fence about hiring an attorney for my DUI case. So much so that I contacted David Manilla just a week and a half before my TRIAL DATE. He explained to me the benifits and risk factors of hiring an attorney as opposed to representing myself. With only about a week to work with my ARD eligibility status looked very bleek. Without ARD I was looking at 12 months suspended license and possible jail time. He was able to get me ARD eligible in a week. A process that usually takes 1-2 months or more.

My legal situation when I came to Mr. Manilla was bleak to say the least and had me very worried about my immediate future. Less than a week before I was scheduled to have a preliminary DUI hearing I contacted Mr. Manilla because I had been involved in a accident in which I was being charged with four traffic violations, all of which carried points. With clarity and knowledge Mr. Manilla explained to the possible consequences for my actions. The very day I retained him as my lawyer, Mr. Manilla fought for my best interests with both tenacity and professionalism. I had previously used a very popular DUI Lawyer website to find representation in my area and found the lawyer it recommended to display certain characteristics which are the exact opposite of those one would look for in legal representation. To say that Mr. Manilla posses the traits I look for in a lawyer would be an understatement. As I had previously stated my legal situation prior to Mr. Manillas services was bleak to say the least. I had a DUI, a very high BAC, had not been apprehended in the most favorable circumstances, following my DUI I had four very serious traffic violations, and I didn’t retain Mr. Manilla until less than a week before my court date. All things considered I would consider his representation a godsend. Those traffic charges have either been thrown out or reduced to ones which carry no points and my DUI case is turning out better than I could have possibly hoped.
The one thing I have come to learn and appreciate about Mr. Manilla is that he is about results. He will be honest, professional, and sensitive. Considering his expertise in DUI and traffic law I find his fees to be more than reasonable. If given the chance I would recommend the services of Mr. Manilla in a heartbeat. David Michael Manilla

Initially after getting multiple DUIs in a short period of time I highered a large full-page-back-of-the-phone-book DUI law firm. They refused to listen to the ancillary medical and situation conditions that I felt may aide in my defense. It felt like I was being packaged and processed and, after the initial 15 minute interview with a partner, I was passed off to a 'lower' associate who did not instill me with confidence.
Upon hearing a glowing review of David Manilla from an associate I met and immediately retained his services and dismissed the large law firm. He spent time with me and listened to my explanation of my conditions and then spoke straight with me. At a time I though was hopeless he provided a ray of light for me. I went from thinking my life and professional career were ruined to realizing I had a shot of continuing to advance my career. He basically told me the worst case scenario, what the likely outcome he could achieve, and the best case scenario. I was amazed, based on my circumstances, that he achieved the best case within the proposed budget. The outcome achieved was amazing; time in jail and duration of license loss were significantly reduced, which in turn saved me time and prevented my career from being impeded.
