About me

Jordan Rushie moved to Philadelphia in 2007. His office and his home are in the Fishtown area. He has handled dozens of zoning cases before the Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, and the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court.

Jordan is active in the Fishtown Neighbors Association Zoning Committee, and has represented civic associations such as East Kensington Neighbors Association and Northern Liberties Neighbors Association. He gives lectures such as "Zoning 101" for civic associations and real estate developers.

In 2014, Jordan testified before the Pennsylvania State Judiciary Committee, urging the state to adopt anti-SLAPP legislation, which would protect citizens and civic associations from frivolous lawsuits.

In 2015, Jordan testified before the Philadelphia City Planning Commission, uging them to accept sensible changes to Fishtown's Zoning Map.

  • Timothy Andrew Lesinski

Jordan was my opposing counsel approximately three years ago, a multi-party case with complicated legal and factual issues. Jordan's skills and professionalism in handling the matter were impressive, not just for a fellow young lawyer, but compared to the other highly respected veteran litigators involved in the case. Since then, Jordan has continued to prove that he is an excellent attorney. He has exceptional knowledge of the law, proven litigation skills, and unyielding tenacity. The best compliment you can give an attorney is to refer him business. I have, and will continue to refer my clients, family and friends to Jordan.

Jordan is a creative and crafty litigator. He's not afraid to get in there and battle through to trial. I admire his commitment and he's kind of like an old school lawyer that's really got a handle on a new school way of doing things.
