Bernard Ilkhanoff

Case Conclusion Date:April 18, 2011

Practice Area:Family

Outcome:Client was awarded shared custody and mother was found in contempt of the custody order and ordered to pay our client's attorney's fees.

Description:Client split with the mother following a 7 year relationship that bore the parties a daughter who was 2 at the time of the breakup. Mother prevented our client from seeing his daughter and we filed for shared custody. Despite an order awarding the parties shared custody, mother refused to allow our client access to the child. We filed for contempt of the custody order and following a trial, mother was found in contempt, ordered to pay our client's attorney's fees and the court re-affirmed the shared custody arrangement.
