Jeff has become more than my trusted legal advisor over the last eight years, he's become a friend. He has handled divorce and child custody for me, and has been more than flexible with finances and other matters. His closing statements during my child custody case were nothing short of poetic, energized, moving, and true. It's because of him that I won 50/50 shared custody of my 15-year-old daughter in a state that is notorious for being UNfriendly to men. I will continue to use Jeff for legal advice in the future, though I hope to leave divorce at the doorstep.

Jeff has been a tremendous help with my legal issues. He has kept me updated all through this very involved procedure. Jeff attends seminars and was able to find out about a new law that saved me from having to start the child support process over after the opposing party did not show up in court. Many of our contacts have been by email and has as such saved me money. The end result at this time is that I have full custody of my twin daughters and am receiving the support I need from their mother!

Attorney Pollock meets in his comfortable office located in his home in Squirell Hill. Parking is not a problem, as you park in his driveway. Mr. Pollock prepares clinets with more then enough information prior to meeting.He then explains the mediation process.

Issues are discussed and worked out between both parties. Some subjects go quickly and are agreed to by both sides.And they feel ok. Some are more difficult. Some personal issues and sensitive feelings take more time to address. Attorney Pollock steps in to work things out and hopefully settled to both parties satifaction.

The Mediator does not take a side.Mediators do not represent one person and does not give guidence to one party against the other. With the mediator's help and expertise; both parties hopefully will work out thier settlement.

Divorce is not a comfortable situation at any time. Children, joint property, and money issues are unbelivable to resolve quickly or easy. But they must be addressed. The more clear that both parties can see that in the best interest to all persons and children; they can work to resolve all issues smoothly as possible.

I am so glad I found Jeffrey Pollock. The breakup of my marriage and having to go to court for child support was very intimidating to me. I don't have a lot of money and wanted to save on attorney fees by doing as much as possible on my own. But I didn't know anything at all about the process and didn't want to get a raw deal due to not having an attorney with me who knows the system. Jeffrey taking me through the maze explaining exactly where I needed to go, what forms I needed to fill out and what to expect at the hearing encouraged me. I could always count on prompt replies to my last minute questions by phone and email. I would definetly recommend Pollock to anyone.. he is very good.. he knows what he is going and he is acting fast... we hired him for my sisters Probation violation and with every other attorney telling us it would take weeks to get stuff done and to get a hearing date.. Jeff Pollock reviewed the considerable case file that I compiled with my wife's help and spent several hours explaining to me the pros and cons of my proposed law suit. When I consider the time he spent reading this before our meeting his $300 fee was very reasonable. During the meeting I asked many questions that I had formulated over the 18 months since the original incidents precipitating the suit. His answers were informative and never patronizing. Let's compare his performance to my own: I consider myself a very capable mechanic with lots of technical learning. Should a customer question me about computerized fuel injection and a big modification he was attempting on such a system even though he had no more experience with such things than to have watched a pro at work, I would have great difficulty not insulting him one way or the other. The insult would come out through verbal, nonverbal or both kinds of communication. I wouldn't have the skill to put up with such audacity. Well that audacity is what I have and tempered with little knowledge. So Jeffery Pollock was able to teach me something and also able to leave me with some confidence in my original intentions, which is to get some kind of justice out of my circumstances. I have a terrible situation with my ex-husband. He is the type that does't understand boundaries, and as a result makes my life entirely stressful. I came for advice on how to handle him and make him stop threatening me. There was already a custody order in place for our daughter, Jeff had helped to have a few key things changed in the agreement. Might sound too good to be true, but I rated Mr. Pollock excellent in all areas because he is, hands down, the best attorney I've ever worked and communicated with. In the past, I had to fire attorneys due to poor service, lack of reasonable response time, and a general distaste for how they viewed me as a client.
