About Me

Attorney Todd Spivak provides strong, compassionate representation in all family law and criminal matters. He is founder and owner of Spivak Law Firm based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.


 


Attorney Spivak focuses his practice on defending people accused of domestic violence and abuse. Typical cases involve Protection From Abuse (PFA), child custody, criminal domestic violence, divorce, child support, Child Youth and Family Services (CYF), child abuse, and juvenile delinquency. He has helped hundreds of clients in Pittsburgh and all nearby counties, including: Allegheny County, Beaver County, Butler County, Clarion County, Fayette County, Indiana County, Washington County, and Westmoreland County.


 


Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Attorney Spivak attended classes at Columbia University in New York, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from closely affiliated Albert A. List College, and earned a Juris Doctor degree from University of Colorado Law School. He has written on legal matters for The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and At Issue, published by the Pennsylvania Bar Association. A former investigative reporter, his work won numerous national awards and was twice nominated for The Pulitzer Prize.


 


Admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, Attorney Spivak is an active member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania bar associations.
