Morton L. Bittker is of counsel to the firm where he concentrates his practice in elder law, estate administration, estate planning & real estate. He received his B.A. degree with honors from the University of Rochester and his J.D. degree from Cornell University. Prior to joining Woods, Oviatt, he was a partner in the law firm of Bittker & Johnstone, P.C. (1989-1992) and a partner in the law firm of Easton & Bittker and its predecessors (1961-1988).
Mr. Bittker presently serves on the Professional Advisory Committee of the Foundation for the Jewish Community and has previously served as President of the Opera Theatre Guild of Rochester, the Board of Trustees of the Brighton Memorial Library and the Cornell Club of Rochester.
Mr. Bittker is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
Active in the Monroe County Bar Association, Mr. Bittker is a member of the Elder Law Committee and the Senior Attorney's Committee. He has previously served as Treasurer of the Association, as a member of the Board of Trustees, as a member of the Fee Arbitration Committee and as chair of the Real Estate Section. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association where he is active in both the Trusts & Estates Section and the Elder Law Section.
