Words cannot truly express what a valuable lawyer Kurt Saccone is. He has a very strong work ethic, is honest, diligent and scholarly. Kurt is never ill prepared, he never kept me in the dark and always took time to answer my questions. The successful outcome of my immigration woes can be directly attributed to his hard work on the case. Kurt took personal interest in my case, putting in long hours and expressed genuine care about my well being and the overall outcome of my case and future. Kurt, is simply the best, he truly should be the example of how all lawyers should be.
I call Mr. Kurt Saccone a life saver. I had 5 days left to leave the country when one of my friends referred him to me. His professionalism, honesty, integrity, and knowledge made me believe in him; after going through so many lawyers in the capital region. He made me feel comfortable and safe and he worked really hard to save me and my family. After 8 years, I'm still here running my business and supporting my sons financially and emotionally while they're in college. Without Mr. Saccone I would not be here and my sons would never have been able to go to college. Again, I call him... a life saver. He is the best thing to ever happen to me and my family. I wish him a lot of success with the new business that he opened in Schenectady, NY. I would recommend him over and over again, for the rest of my life.
I hired Mr. Saccone to represent me with my case . I was frustrated and had many doubts of how my case would turn out as it was years after years trying to accomplish my dream. As it seems then, there were no hope, no light at the end of the tunnel for me. I learnt of Mr. Saccone through a recommendation I received from a friend. I was hesitant to make the consultation to meet with him, my thoughts "another attorney recommendation". I thought it through for some time and decided to meet with Mr. Saccone.
On my very first appointment, after meeting with Mr. Saccone I was somewhat relieved as he did shown me "hope". He give me confidence that my case was possible so I hired him and fired my current attorney.
Mr. Saccone has treated me with professionalism, confidentiality, transparency, excellent responsiveness to inquiry I have made and most of all, Integrity.
Mr. Saccone was extremely knowledgeable with the subject matter and answer any questions I had. The answer you get that can be trusted, not the punch-line I usually get with the other attorneys I have worked with. For that, I admired his knowledge and have come to have great respect of his knowledge.
Although my case took 13 months to get resolved which involved many processes to complete, that was normal comparing to the national average. Mr. Saccone has finally came through as promised on day one. Results were delivered. Because of the high level of professionalism Mr. Saccone handle my case, I had never lost faith once during the course of my case.
Because of my experience with Mr. Saccone and at the high level he handle my case, I highly recommend his serves to anyone. If you want results, professionalism, confidentiality, transparency and respect, then Mr. Saccone is who is to be hired.
The one area I am truly impressed with is his responsiveness and transparency during my case. I truly recommend him!
I HAVE TO SAY HE IS A GREAT LAWYER. HE DID WHAT EVERY OTHER LAWYER COULD NOT DO. THEY SAID WE WOULD HAVE TO GO BACK TO OUR COUNTRY, AND HE SAID NO, HE WILL HELP US. HE DID HIS BEST IN HELPING US AND IN THE END WE WON OUR CASE. TODAY WE ARE SO GRATEFUL TO HIM FOR HELPING US WHEN EVERY ONE ELSE WOULDN'T. HE HAS ALSO HELP MANY OTHER PEOPLE THAT WE RECOMMENDED TO HIM.
My family retained Kurt Saccone after reviewing his credentials as an immigration trial lawyer for deportation/removal proceeding initiated in Buffalo, NY while re-entering the United States from Canada. He has an impressive resume but unfortunately did not deliver as he said he would. When my family first went to meet him for their initial consultation, he reassured them that he would be able to help us during this very difficult time. Boy oh boy, did we make a huge mistake by trusting him. (This is an understatement!) He was completely unprepared at trial and lacked zeal and mastery! He did not spend the necessary time drafting his theme and questions for trial. Kurt basically winged it at trial! He was calling my parents at 11:30pm, the night before he was supposed to submit my asylum application, which would eventually become the Achilles' heel of my immigration case. He made significant mistakes on the asylum application that the Attorney for the DHS (Department of Homeland Security) later used to impeach at trial. Simply stated, the DHS attorney was better prepared than Kurt. Which attorney begins to prepare an asylum application at 11:30pm the night of, when it's supposed to be submitted the next morning?! He submitted papers without properly reviewing them and made the case stronger for the DHS. We had to pay him an additional large sum of money and then made continuous requests for months for him to submit an application for my release/bail pending trial. Obviously, this was done last minute too and was denied because we were now quickly approaching our trial date. He should have prepared and submitted motions (applications to the court) for a change of venue and multiple pre-trial motions but completely ignored to do so. He obviously did not want a change of venue because it was not in his best interest to move me from Batavia, NY (which has a 90% rate of deportation) to my home area (which has a 50% rate of deportation); but it would have certainly been in my (client) best interest, both geographically for my family and probability wise. (This statistical data was found on the TRAC website by Syracuse University.) He did not spend time preparing witnesses for trial until the morning of trial when stress levels were at its peak. How professional is that?! Moreover, he charged for every single conversation on the phone (regardless of whether it was a 5 minute conversation) and astonishingly, he even charged for every single text message. I can't understand why he did this to my family and I. We paid him everything he wanted but he still never delivered. He failed us horribly!
I hope this review can save someone else from the extreme hardships this man caused my entire family. I feel as if Kurt was billing my family for every second he could but when it came to crunch time, he didn't put in the work and effort we paid him for and deserved. I most definitely had a winnable case. Please beware before you retain him or his firm because when you lose your immigration trial and get deported, your life and family will be ruined forever. Deportation/removal proceedings are the toughest types of immigration cases and you need the right attorney on your side to win. As you know by now, that was NOT Kurt Saccone. (This review is 100% legitimate and was not left as sour grapes; it was written so others can know what happened to me when this lawyer represented me at trial.)
