People v. John Hargett - Not Guilty after Trial

Outcome: Not Guilty - Acquittal

Description: Attempted Murder charge, Assault 1st, 2nd and other charges. Case was initially tried and a mistrial was declared due to intemperate behavior by the Judge. Case was then retried to a hung jury of 11-1 for acquittal. Third trial ensued and a full acquittal of ALL charges was obtained for the Defendant, freeing him of all charges. This was an extremely hard fought case that was finalized with a Not Guilty verdict by the jury.
