About Me

As a second generation Italian-American, I have a great appreciation for the immigrant experience, genealogy and the history of immigration in the United States.  I have practiced immigration law since 1990 and have had my solo practice since 2000.  My office handles all manner of immigration cases including employment and family-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, orphan & adoption-based immigration, adjustment of status applications, consular processing, naturalization, derivative citizenship, removal defense, waivers for individuals with J-1 status, and waiver applications for other grounds of inadmissibility including fraud, criminal offenses, unlawful presence and health related factors.

I have been an adjunct professor of immigration law at New York Law School since 2002. I was a co-director of the law school's Safe Passage Immigration Project (focusing on special immigrant juvenile cases) from 2007 to 2012.

My hobbies include travel, cooking, improv, stand up comedy and family history/genealogy. I am an avid collector of immigration-related films!
