I just finalized my divorce, having had David Dikman as my attorney. We literally just signed the papers this morning and I feel compelled to share with anyone in a similar situation how much I respect and adore this man and his staff.

David was recommended to me by an attorney friend, and I am forever indebted to her for that tip. He is super bright, tough and a consummate professional. He was on top of his game throughout the entire process, and what stood out was that there were things he thought about (to protect my interests) that I'm sure many attorneys would not have even brought up, because they're sometimes bored or uninterested.

I felt that David left no stone unturned, because he cares. I never felt like just another file in his office. I also felt like he has his finger on the pulse of how much things cost these days, and when I might have leaned towards one thing or one number, he made sure to give me a reality check.

I retained David as my lawyer after having a horrible experience with another lawyer who failed to keep me informed about what was happening in my case. I wasn't expecting much when i met David after my past experience but he not only met my expectations but exceeded them! He is extremely professional and responsive. He notifies you about all aspects of the case at all times and advises you appropriately. He is calm and collective yet can be aggressive to the other party when necessary. The office staff is very kind yet professional as well. I am very lucky that I had David on my side during such a hard time in my life with divorce/custody case. He made the complicated issues very simple to understand and tried his best to keep it out of a judge's hands. I have recommended him to 2 others in the past who were very satisfied as well and will continue to do so to anyone in the future as well.

A lawyer should be someone who first and foremost listens to your needs and answers all questions asked. They should be able to explain the law and legal ramifications involving your case in layman terms. While defending you at trial, a lawyer must be professional, know the law, be able to interpret and articulate the law, understand and adapt to whatever courtroom setting and presiding Judge and be calm although aggressive when necessary. As your lawyer, this is what you will find in Mr. David Dikman, a gentleman and truly a scholar at his profession. David provided legal service for my custody trial, appeal and lastly support trial. I retained Mr. Dikman in 2009 to handle my divorce. He was recommended by a friend who also handled his divorce. When I first met Mr. Dikman, I knew from the start that he had a vast knowledge of current law and courtroom experience. I myself worked with prosecuting/defense Attorneys and judges in criminal cases for many years, so at our first sit down i knew right away that he was the person to handle my divorce. He explained everything clearly and answered all my questioned . He made himself available at all times and responded diligently to all corresponds from the other party's attorney. He worked out a settlement without having to go to court and argue over much of which can be worked out between both parties and not leaving it up to a judge.
His staff is wonderful and welcoming which makes it all the better.
I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an attorney.

Was upfront regarding all issues. He did his best to resolve the case without going to court. When this didn't work, he did a great job in court. He was both very knowledgeable of the law and realistic of how the system works which isn’t always what you might expect. I would definitely recommend.

Dave Dikman is an amazing lawyer. He is honest. He is trustworthy. He is very efficient. He is professional but he has a softness about him. He does care about his clients. I was so happy I had him for my lawyer, especially, hearing so many horror stories from other people, I knew I had picked the right man for the job. He is amazing, and also his staff his amazing!! Everytime I went into his office, there were these three wonderful women who always made you feel so good. whether it was a smile, or a hug. You felt that they cared. I could not have chosen a better attorney for my divorce case. David exhibited both professionalism and compassion throughout the process. When things were heating up David kept me grounded and calm. He never steered me wrong nor did he try and fire up the other side in the case. Every step of the way David remained accessible and responsive. We finished our proceddings in eleven months and his fees were both fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend David to all that should ask.

David is the consummate professional. I found him to be direct, and forthright during the entire divorce process. David negotiated a settlement in which I retained nearly 90% of my assets, 50% visitation, and I kept my house as well. I could have asked for nothing more from the representation David provided.
