Kevin is hard working, responsive, informative, and follows through on everything he promised. I had a Creditor incorrectly report that an account I paid in full timely and closed was in collections. My credit score dropped 60 points! I tried working with this Creditor for 2 months (countless phone calls and letters), they promised they would resolve it. I disputed it with the credit reporting agencies, one would not change it as they deferred to the Creditor even though I sent them verification. I even reported them to the Consumer Financial Protection Board CFPB - I found it on the back of my credit card statement under disputed accounts. The CFPB actually pushed the Creditor, but backed away once the Creditor assured them they resolved the issue, which they had not. Kevin thoroughly explained to me the process, how he planned to proceed (with my permission), discussed expectations, and followed through. I really just wanted the Creditor and Credit Reporting Agency to fix the error quickly and issue an apology (and repair my credit score right away). That did not happen. We ended up having to file suit and I was actually compensated for this nightmare. I did not get the apology I wanted, but my credit score went up 68 points, and I was paid for the damage. I saw Kevin to first discuss my case at the end of August, received the first settlement in November and the second in early December, much more quickly than anticipated. Throughout the entire time Kevin kept me informed and returned every phone call. If you have ever dealt with an attorney before you know that this is quite rare. I highly recommend Kevin. I was lucky I found him.

Mr. Mallon represented me on a wrongful collection by Citibank who failed to protect me from overcharges from a merchant for services not received. He pretty much blew the court case by mis-understanidng the statue which let him move the case from Suffolk county to the five boroughs. He cost me alot of money, close to the judgement amount, without any results. And somehow, all my court records (filed by both sides) disappeared from the clerk's office.

Right away Kevin was different from other lawyers I had talked to about my situation. My credit score was damaged by a wrong debt collection record. None of the companies involved was willing to look into the well-documented facts. I came to Mr. Mallon's office to seek justice and recovery of the economic damage. He immediately understood the essence of the matter and laid out a strategic plan of actions. During this case, I am impressed by his complete and accurate knowledge in his area of practice. Our plan proceeded just as he predicted, and the outcome was much better than I had hoped for. I was doubtful about the outcome of this lawsuit a couple of times, but Mr. Mallon proved to be an extremely experienced guide in this field, who always knew how to achieve the best result. Many companies such as credit bureaus do not have any incentive to protect individual consumers in isolated cases. It is not cost effective for them, but could be an upsetting issue for a single person or family. Mr. Mallon's work is a valuable service to the society. I wouldn't have the time and energy to win my case against three defendants without his work. We need more lawyers like him to protect and enforce the law.

I brought a new car from a major dealership; when I received the title from DMV it said “used”. I tried to work with the dealership but although they were smiling and very apologetic they were only looking out for their best interest after a few months of bad offers and having DMV intervene in my behalf . I retained Mr. Mallon and shortly thereafter the situation was resolved. I got back my payments I made to the finance company and the dealership took ownership of the car. I am very happy with the outcome. If you need someone to fight for you he is the go to guy.
