Waste of Money!Posted by: Laura, 2009-08-14 4 months ago. Flag as objectionable
Client Review:
We hired John F Roth confident that they would help us through the K1 immigration process. Our case was held in background checks for 9 months at USCIS & our 'lawyer' did nothing to help us. They did not respond to emails or phone calls. This made the whole process even more frustrating. The promise of help & advice pre-interview never happened & to this day they have never contacted us to see if we have had our interview at the embassy. (I've been in the USA for 3 months now). I would recommend an excellent website called visajourney.com where all the necessary information required to file a family based immigration petition can be found. John F Roth was a total waste of $1600.

John Roth & Associates Dear Sirs, This letter is to thank you and your associates for the wonderful work you did for my fiancée and me. We talked to a few attorneys before we settled on going with your firm and are so pleased that we did. Many attorneys have lower prices but we didn’t have a feeling of confidence when talking with them. The services we received from you and Gay Lynn were outstanding. I know at times that I was a pain in the butt to you but you nor Gay Lynn ever reflected that. I could have paid you three times as much and still it would have been worth every penny. My fiancée had her visa revoked when she was seventeen, also she has been denied visas in the past, which could have posed a problem for her attaining a K1 visa plus her English isn’t that good. We were really expecting for her not to pass the interview the first time and having to go back again. She passed the interview and was granted her passport the same day due to your di John F. Roth

Client Review:
You never really get to speak to the lawyer. You only get to talk to the paralegal (1) the other are secretaries. The paralegal is more responsive via email. looks like he is over worked. they are knowledgable in the field but when you need clarification so that you dont worry about your case, they are not there to explain it. they know that it wont be a problem, but they only tell you as little as possible (they are understaff) and you are in the way. of course they all the time in the world for you prior to taking your money. they also mess up my schedule, they were suppose to inform me of an important date or event according to their policy but that never happened. i have to inform them of the event and then they got the ball rolling after yelling at me why I did not inform them?? What a joke.

Client Review:
I am the type of person that does everything myself, but when I looked at the paperwork that was in front of me I knew I needed help. I did an internet search and found Mr. Roth and since he was close to me in New York I took a chance and gave him a call, right from the begining I got the feeling he knew what he was talking about. I was very Lucky to have called the right person. He and his staff were the most professional while at the same time treating you like one of the family. We heard horror stories from other people about their lawyers and John made it seem so easy, those stories were hard to believe. It has been 7 years since we were married and look forward to many more. R & J.

Best K1 Visa LawyerPosted by: tonyr68, 2008-09-18 about 1 year ago. Flag as objectionable
Client Review:
When I first started getting my paperwork together, I was doing it alone and I saw what a nightmare it was going to be dealing with the government. Luckily I bumped into a client of John's at the court house and we started talking and he told me about John's firm and how helpful they were. I gave John's firm a call and left a message and I received a call back the next morning. John and his firm made it look so easy. John's associate Gay Lynn was so friendly and was always available when I needed a question answered. John's firm made my K1 Visa process for my fiance' so easy I couldn't believe it. My only gripe is with their associate in the Philippines. I think her name was Kathy. When she met with my fiance' in Makati, she also met with some other fiance's and everything was rushed. My fiance' felt like she didn't want to answer any questions and was in a hurry to get thru the paperwork. She was suppose to prepare my fiance for her interview at the Embassy but didn't. Which made her very nervous. I spoke with Gay Lynn and she came to the rescue and helped us to prepare for the interview at the Embassy.
My Fiance' arrived this year in February and we were married in March. Thanks to all the hard work John and his firm did. I have recommended John's firm to a few people and to anyone who has a Immigration issue, especialy when it comes to Visa's. They are hands down the best Firm to handle your case. I am so happy to recommend Mr. Roth to all those in need of a good immigration lawyer. His services seemed more like those of a personal friend that was trying his best to help and was always keeping me updated about the immigration process even though I was 3000 miles away. I had no problems obtaining a visa and staying in the US all because of Mr. Roth. Definetly the guy to go to when all doors are closed.
Thank you again Mr. Roth for your work. Irina, Florida John F. Roth

I used Mr Roth's firm to obtain my fiancee's K-Visa. Everyone I worked with was both professional and supportive. My Fiancee was well prepared for her interview. If I had to do it all over again, I would certainly employ Mr Roth's firm.

Client Review:
Very knowledgeable in his specialty field of K-visas. Also have a great support team of paralegals. The only minor gripe was they're so busy and it's very difficult to get to talk to John personally. All in all, I would highly recommend John and his team if you need to deal with one of those K-visas petition.

Making the Impossible PossiblePosted by: joeandnadya, 2008-08-29 about 1 year ago. Flag as objectionable
Client Review:
In 2002 Mr. Roth helped me and my Russian Fiance to achieve our dream of marriage and a happy family life together. We had a complicated visa immigration case and after the 911 attacks it was even more difficult to get visas. Our case seemed impossible for us, but Mr. Roth assured us we would be together.
I think most firms do the paper work and hope for the best. John Roth gave our case his personal attention which made all the difference. Mr. Roth and his staff were professional, very helpful, addressed all our concerns and answered all our questions. My wife and I have been together for five and a half years now and are very thankful for Mr. Roth and all his help to make our dream come true. With all the dis-information out there even from so called professionals and government employees Mr. Roth is the person you can depend on for knowledgeable assistance. Again without him it would have been impossible! Thank You Mr. Roth. My original E-Mail to John Roth. Thank You very much! We received the good news yesterday. We know you and your staff worked very hard on our case and could not have done it with out you. Please know that you have made Nadya our new family and I very very happy. Again, Thank You Very Much." Joseph and NedezhdaTata John F. Roth

Client Review:
When looking for someone to help me present my K1 visa case to the Immigration Department, I was browsing the internet looking for possibilities. I saw several ads for such services, but John F. Roth caught my eye because they had so much success in this area. I was a little hesitant being that it was an internest service, but decided to give it a try. After securing their services, they set me up with one of the partners who would best suit my case. I was pleasantly surprised that everything was handled in a timely manner, efficiently and I could e-mail or call at any time if i had questions. If Michael was not available, his secretary would take my message. Most of the interaction occurred via e-mail, but if I felt I needed to talk to Michael personally he was always available.
I loved that I could look on line and see how the status of my case was progressing and the web site had lots of pertinent information. I was extremely pleased with the way Michael handled my case and I would definitely recommend this law firm to anyone in need of K1 visa services. My experience has found them to be very trustworthy, information, attentive to my needs, and made me feel that my case was important. Thank you again Michael for everything and I would absolutely recommend this law firm with the highest confidence in all areas. John F. Roth
Everything went fairly smoothPosted by: cl2thdoc1, 2008-08-29 about 1 year ago. Flag as objectionable
Client Review:
I first asked John Roth to help with a different fiancee, but as happens in long-distance relationships, that relationship fell apart after almost 2 years. I met the perfect woman soon after, and again asked for help. With a nominal fee, he transferred the money I had spent to start processing my new fiancee. I accompanied her to the interview and everything went very smoothly. I would recommend this law firm for the purpose of K-1 Visa immigration law needs. My only criticism would be, I would have liked to have had more contact occur between the law firm and my fiancee. I know John Roth & Associates did not do much for her since I kept informing them I would be going back to visit, so I would handle everything... but it would have been nice for her to hear that they were letting me handle things since I was going to be there and could complete everything faster. I can say that I only waited 45 days for USCIS approval, then 5 weeks for our Kiev interview. Please KNOW that fiancees CANNOT come immediately after the interview. They will need 2 weeks to acquire a US Stamp Visa in their International passports....

Client Review:
Mr. John Roth and his team were absolutely wonderful! They helped my husband and I get him here on a fiance visa and get through all the paperwork and customs without a hitch! All in enough time for our wedding! Every piece of paperwork they handled. I only had to look things over and sign, easy. He was there in times of crisis, when I felt like things weren't going to work out, and talked to me like a friend, not a client, calming me down and telling me everything was going to be okay.
Mr. John Roth is who you want. And I thank them for everything, as so does my husband (of now 6 years) and my family. Thank you! John F. Roth

Client Review:
I would recommend this firm in a heartbeat. Another good friend is going to Russia this week to visit and possibly agree to marry a man. She has asked me for advice on the process and I have assured her that I will help in every way possible. The first thing I will do is suggest she contact the offices of John F Roth. From beginning to end they were very helpful, knowledgable
and responded to inquiries quickly. The interview process was extremely easy for my Lena and went so smoothly we were both surprised. Only one question was asked about communication and having that resolved we knew thew paperwork was perfect. I certainly could not have completed the documentation with such confidence alone. John F.
