About Me

I graduated from Emory University school of law, a nationally recognized institution, ranked 20 out of 184 accredited law schools. In 1977, I became an associate in a law firm, located in Bridgeport and began my 32 year career handling personal injury cases for both Plaintiffs and Defendants. Over the years I have handled thousands of personal injury matters and amassed over 100 jury verdicts.

In 1979 I was appointed to the post of Assistant Town Attorney for the Town of Stratford, being the youngest person to obtain this position. In the mid-80s I was honored with the position of Town Attorney fot Stratford. I personally handled most of the litigation for the Town, trying numerous cases to conclusion.

In 1983 I established my own firm with an emphasis on personal injury litigation. During that time I represented injured persons and also represented individuals on behalf of over 25 insurance carriers. In 1985 I obtained the largest verdict in the state against a chiropractor for malpractice. I have successfully argued cases before the Connecticut Supreme Court, concerning under-insured motorist coverage, medical malpractice and police conduct matters.

In 1999, i restricted my practice to solely handling cases for injured persons, preferring to forgo taking on cases on behalf on insurance companies.

Professional Misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.

  1. Reprimand
    issued in CT, 2012

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the State did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
