Alex defended me in my case and was very helpful and reassuring. He goes through everything with me thoroughly and executed his plans flawlessly. I never had such a wonderful lawyer before, I would definitely recommend him to everyone.
From the moment I met with Alex, I instantly felt better. I was going through a really rough time, and he made the whole process so much better. He filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy for me, and he handled it so well. When we went to the 341 Meeting I saw so many other attorneys who were clearly unprepared and didn't care about their client's case. Alex had not only prepared me well for the meeting, but he also prepared himself, and that preparation was obvious once the trustee started with her questions. I'm so happy to recommend Alex to others I know are going through the same thing. I know he can help them too!
When I first got arrested, probation interviewed me and my income disqualified me from receiving a public defender. I was referred to Attorney Alex Hess through a previous attorney because of his criminal defense experience and his handling of felony cases in the past. From the start, Attorney Hess diligently investigated my case, interviewed witnesses, and dispelled the many accusations and circumstances the DA alleged in their police report. Despite my criminal record, Attorney Hess was able to get me bail, and worked hard to defend the criminal charges against me, and advocated for me in criminal court.
I was very happy with Attorney Hess's representation, ability to represent me in court, and work with the DA's to disprove the allegations against me. Ultimately, he was able to disprove many of the allegations against me, and obtain a favorable deal where i received probation instead of jail time. I was very pleased with Attorney Hess's work, and his defense of my case. I highly recommend him for criminal matters.
Attorney Hess prosecuted my claim for fraud in Bankruptcy Court (Boston), and stopped a former business partner from defrauding me out of lots of money. After our relationship soured, my former business partner took off and he owed me over $70,000. I couldn't find him for months, and months down the road I received papers that he filed a bankruptcy in Massachusetts and was trying to avoid paying me the money he owed me.
Attorney Hess with the help of Richard Gottlieb's office successfully sued him in Bankruptcy Court (I didn't even know you could do that), and received an order from the judge that he couldn't discharge my debt. He tried to defraud me out of a lot of money and Attorney Hess did a great job in court proving fraud and that he really did owe me the money. I would use their office again for any service. Their office was friendly, responsive to calls and emails, and made the entire process easy to understand.
Alex, and the team at The Law Offices of Richard N. Gottlieb, vigorously defended my in Bankruptcy Court after a creditor sued me for fraud. At each court hearing, Alex defended me, won in court, and ultimately won my case and eliminated all of my debts. I was very confused by the bankruptcy process and worried after getting sued, but Alex made me very comfortable and actually listened to me and made the legal process understandable. His knowledge of the law coupled with his strong advocacy skills helped me to win my case.
I trust Alex and his team, and would absolutely go to them if I ever need a lawyer again.
