I'm not sure how this man managed to pass the bar or has any positive reviews online. Unprofessional, uninformed, and under-read in the law. As soon as he took my money a string of inappropriate things that made me that made me really uncomfortable came out of his mouth and he seemed to have no interest in actually discussing the details of my case. He read a law off of a page he had printed out word for word and then either couldn't be bothered to or simply couldn't discuss with me how it pertained to me specifically. He showed up to my hearing, made a few more uncomfortable comments and then when it actually started was asked by multiple people to please act more professional as it reflects poorly on one's client. He didn't. In my opinion he's not worth the time it would take to call his office, let alone the money you would lose.

I first consulted with Attorney LaRiviere a little over 2 years ago on a Landlord- tenant issue. He listened to the issues and came up with an effective solution that saved me time and money. Recently, i worked with him again on a Probate issue. He was cognizant of the fact that it was a tough time for me, and was very patient and understanding. He worked with the court on the issue while updating me every step of the way. His fees are very reasonable, and in certain situations will offer legal advise that is helpful. I will continue to use Maurice LaRiviere Jr with any law issues that may arise.
