Why would the prosecutor call my attorney saying it's urgent to speak with him?
Attorney called stating the prosecutor, who has been virtually impossible for my attorney to reach, called stating it was urgent to speak with him. Stated things were missing from the discovery packet and stated they were going to continue the case the day before trial. I'm not sure how freaked out I should be.
Don’t freak. Could be a good sign. Wait patiently for attorney to get back to you, Have faith in your attorney’s abilities!

Only one person knows why the prosecutor called your attorney, that is the prosecutor.
Once your attorney speaks with them, they will tell you.
Wishing you the best.

They called because they "forgot" to put something in discovery that my attorney had been asking about for weeks. They waiting until less than 24hrs before trial to contact him and say they were going to continue the case. Attorney stated they sounded a bit "panicked" but who knows. Thank you for the reply
