I’m licensed in North Carolina, not Texas, so this is just general information.
If your ex hid bank accounts or money during your divorce, you may still be able to take action — but it depends on what your divorce papers said and how long Texas allows you to enforce or reopen a case.
A Texas family law attorney can review your old paperwork and any proof you have of those accounts. If he really hid assets or didn’t follow the court order, the lawyer may be able to file a motion to enforce or ask the court to reopen the case for concealed assets.
Gather your records and talk with a local attorney soon — they can tell you if it’s still within the time limits and what steps you can take.
