If it’s my first time ever catching a case ever and they are charging me with 2 charges of petty theft what can be the outcome ?
I got caught stealing at Sephora where they stopped me and took me to a back room they then searched my purse took pictures of the stuff the found but they also found a perfume from another store which is why I have 2 charges of petty theft I admitted to taking these items

What can happen? You may be eligible for petty theft diversion (best scenerio). You would be required to complete the Theft Awareness class and 25 hours of volunteer work within a specified period of time. If you successfully complete the diversion awareness class and the volunteer work your case can be dismissed. This has many advantages to you if you qualify for misdemeanor diversion.
