Can I change my mind about going to trial after the date has been set?
I declined the plea bargain and thought I wanted to go to trial. After the trial date was set the prisecutir supena a lot witnesses.
Answer
Yes, you can usually change your mind and take a plea bargain instead of going to trial but it will be up to the Judge. If the prosecutor revoked your offer you will have to plead to the charges as they are charged and argue your sentence. I strongly suggest having an attorney if that is the case.
