My passion as a nurse and Legacy Planning Attorney is rooted in one purpose: helping individuals and their loved ones navigate life’s most important legal, financial, and healthcare decisions with clarity, compassion, and peace of mind.

My practice focuses on estate planning, probate, elder law, Medicaid planning, and long-term-care planning. I help individuals and families establish essential legal documents, including Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney, while providing guidance on generational wealth preservation, asset protection, Medicaid applications, spend-down strategies, and the challenges associated with dementia, chronic illness, and aging.

Through a holistic, client-centered approach, I integrate my nursing experience and legal training to help families address complex legal, financial, and healthcare considerations while making informed decisions for the future.

A Foundation in Nursing and Law

Before becoming an attorney, I dedicated more than 23 years to the nursing profession. I began my career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse and later earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with honors from Texas Woman’s University. My nursing experience spans cardiovascular intensive care, medical-surgical nursing, administration, home care, and healthcare technology.

As a home care nurse, I witnessed firsthand the challenges seniors and their families face when navigating healthcare and long-term care systems. This experience inspired me to pursue a legal education to advocate for individuals and families from a broader perspective.

I earned my law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston in May 2021, combining my clinical experience, administrative background, and legal training to provide comprehensive guidance in legacy planning and elder law.

Professional and Civic Engagement

My professional and civic involvement includes membership in the Texas Bar College, Houston Bar Association, Houston Association of Women Attorneys, Houston Lawyers Association, and National Black Nurses Association (NBNA).

I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Destined to Live and the Make A Mark Foundation, which I founded in memory of my brother, Mark-Anthony P. Olusi, who passed away in 2008 following complications after a heart transplant.

Beyond the Practice

Outside of my professional commitments, I enjoy traveling, volunteering, attending concerts, and spending time with my family.
