William J Veitch III

A few weeks ago I got into a very minor accident while my license was on probation. Any vehicle violations would result in a 3 month suspension. Anyway, I hired William Veitch, to represent me. I called him the day of court and he told me that he had it rescheduled and that I didn't need to go to cou...rt. It actually sounded like he completely forgot about court. Later on that day, he called me and said I went to court for you and had everything dropped and I specifically asked if my license was suspended and he said NO, all I had to do was pay the court $156. So as excited as I was hearing the news, like a fool, I signed the affidavit that he went into court and represented me. Nothing that he did in court was mentioned on the affidavit. On the phone he made it seem that he won a great case but in actuality he lied. Few weeks later I got a letter from the DMV saying my license is suspended. Meaning he did absolutely nothing for me. STAY AWAY!

My son was charged in 2 jurisdictions within NJ. We are not from NJ. So, we called Mr. Veitch to consult. He said he could take our case for a fairly low, but reasonable amount. Mr. Veitch never met or consulted with my son. He ONLY spoke with me maybe twice and text after. He never assisted with the... bail hearings, etc. He said he'd have to speak with my son to find out what he was charged with, which caused me a little concern. Isn't that his job to find out and advise us? However, he never spoke with my son. Rather, he spoke with the prosecuting attorney and informed me of how "lucky" my son was that was "all he got." I told him that I am not concerned with that but what he could do for my son other than tell me how lucky he was. He explained that he would not be able to take the second case because it was "too far." Later, he said he'd take both cases for a certain fee, but YOU DIDN'T EARN THE FIRST $FEE! I'M NOT GIVING YOU MORE! Are you serious?! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY with this guy. In my opinion, he was all about the money...not the client. That's a horrible position to take when people hire you to do a job. He still doesn't answer my requests.
