Doesn't answer his phone, impossible to contact, doesn't finish the job he is hired for and we'll accidently end you up in jail for 4 days. Didn't negotiate a lower restitution amount like he said he would just kept pushing the date with no real work done on his part. Had a case that was dismissed ST...ILL open but he wont return our calls to finish the job. Another case dismissed pursuant rule 586, restitution paid in full yet somehow we are still paying on it, he said he would contact the court to correct it but has BLOCKED us and ignores us. Didn't even inform us he is no longer at the law office we hired him out of.

Attorney Stephens represented me in a really bad custody matter with my ex-wife. I had another attorney before, but he just didn't want to do anything. Attorney Stephens listened and really cared about what was best for my kids. He even told me that that was his real concern and even if I didn't l...ike it, he would always tell me what he thought was best for my kids. It was great having someone who didn't pull punches and just told me things straight. I think it helped get things settled quicker too because he really cared. He wasnt just trying to get paid.
