Unsatisfied customer
This lawyer was recommended by a friend. When I started going to therapy I noticed there Dr. was already billing my insurance company for $4500 and I wasn’t even no where near finished the therapy. When I asked what is your fees here and she said we just bill your insurance company $4500 regardless. ...
When my office was hired a Contingent Fee Agreement was presented and explained. It was explained that we only get paid if we win and if we win 60% goes to the client and 40% to the firm. That is the standard fee in the Phila. market. I’m not sure where the confusion over my fee arose, however, when asked my fee I could not give an exact dollar amount prior to settlement but could only say it’s 40% of whatever is collected. As to the doctors bills they are subject to the PA motor vehicle fee schedule. The doctor will only be paid according to that schedule. So the face value of the medical bills is subject to a fee schedule review and reduction. Finally, I welcome you to contact me to discuss this matter. I would be happy to discuss my fees and costs as well as the amount you netted. Please call me.

Choose wisely
Choose very wisely when searching for a lawyer. I never met with Mr. Newman in person was referred by a bystander who witness my auto accident. Mr. Newmen talked with me on the phone twice and told me to complete all my treatments then give him a call back. Was represented by him for over a yr. Las...
All lawyers know their client’s tort status from the outset of a case. Lawyers do not know, however, the extent and or seriousness of their client’s injuries at the outset of the case but are forced to wait until the client’s medical treatment is completed. In cases where a client selected limited tort their injuries must be permanent in nature or rise to a serious impairment of bodily function. Lawyers close cases when their client’s medical records and injuries do not indicate that the limited tort threshold could be met. I’m sorry about the timing of when your case was dropped but again the legal conclusion to do so could not be made until the completion of your medical treatment. Should you wish to discuss this further please call me at my office.
