Tim Wipperman graduated from Columbus College in Georgia summa cum laude (with highest honors) and received his Juris Doctor (Doctor of Laws) from North Carolina Central University School of Law magna cum laude (with high honors). He focuses his practice in the areas of Criminal Defense, DWI and all types of appeals. He has successfully represented clients in all levels of North Carolina state courts, as well as Federal District Court. Tim is admitted to all North Carolina state courts, the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina Federal Courts and the Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a NC Dispute Resolution Commission Certified Superior Court Mediator.
Tim is a retired Army officer, having served for 21 years in a variety of Special Forces, Ranger and Infantry assignments around the world. He is frequently asked to lecture on many areas of the law to a variety of educational and military groups. He has served as an attorney-advisor, scoring juror and presiding judge at the regional and state levels of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice High School Mock Trial competition.
