Prior to joining Progressive house counsel, Mr. Slaughter was an attorney at Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., Florida's largest insurance defense firm, as well as Foreman, McInnis & Associates, P.A. located in Lake City, Florida and Thomas|Pinnacoli located in Stuart, Florida where he practiced in all areas of civil litigation. While practicing in Lake City, Florida, Mr. Slaughter was an active member of the Kiwanis Club as well as the American Red Cross and was twice awarded special recognition by Three Rivers Legal Society for his pro bono representation of low-income citizens within the community.
Mr. Slaughter received his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida Coastal School of Law.
Mr. Slaughter is licensed to practice law in all Florida state courts. He is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Middle District and Southern District of Florida.
