About Teresita
Biography
I was born in New York, New York and raised in Central Florida. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Hodges University in Naples, Florida and my Juris Doctorate degree from the Gonzaga University School of Law.
I have provided a wide range of legal services to my clients since 2012, including federal tax assistance, criminal defense, estate planning, and family law. My experience includes providing Indian law expertise and tribal jurisdiction analysis for federal clients including the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
I began my legal career as a legal researcher for Kauffman & Associates, Inc. in Spokane, Washington. Thereafter, I opened my own law practice dedicated to family law and criminal defense prior to becoming a Tri-Cities Attorney. Since moving to Yakima in 2017, I represented a wide variety of clients before finding my home with the Yakima County Department of Assigned Counsel. Now, I exclusively assist my clients in defending their rights in mental health and therapeutic cases.

Consult
I had a consult with this attorney and I was not pleased with how little interest she showed in my case. She was dressed like a teenage girl with a very low cut shirt that exposed her chest. She kept making comments saying shes an attorney making me feel as if I was uneducated
