Tamara practices employment, corporate and business law.
Tamara is a member of the Florida Bar Association, American Bar Association, Paul C. Perkins Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association. She is involved in the community and has provided many hours of pro bono service as a volunteer to local charitable organizations.
Tamara earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Stetson University College of Law in Tampa Bay, Florida. Tamara was recognized with the distinguished William F. Blews Pro Bono Award and the Stetson University College of Law Leadership Certificate at graduation.
Prior to working with local companies as a business and legal consultant, Tamara was certified by the Supreme Court of Florida to intern at the Largo City Attorney’s office in Florida. She served two terms on the Executive Board of the Black Law Student’s Association. She also served one term on the Executive Board of the Part-time Student Society. In addition, Tamara worked with the American and Caribbean Law Institute while at Stetson, researching and writing about domestic and foreign laws on trademark infringement.
Tamara attended Howard University in Washington D.C. where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications. After college, Tamara worked for many years in the electronic security industry as a security system designer for Class A office buildings and tenants in Washington D.C. and Chicago, gaining valuable business experience. She also managed three customer service teams, twelve account managers, and over 300 commercial accounts.
Tamara is the proud mother of two children, a daughter who is a member of Mensa and a son who is a member of the Boy Scouts of America. In her spare time Tamara serves as the Committee Chair for her son’s Boy Scout Troop.
