Steven Michael Scully

I hired Steven M. Scully to perform a service for which he advertised. To this point Mr. Scully has been unreachable and has not responded to any of my Emails. It's been almost one year sense he was retained with no noticeable action having been taken, I am currently trying to have the funds return...ed under his satisfaction money back guarantee.

I did the mistake of hiring this lawyer by reading the goods reviews on this site and I had one of the most harrowing experience ever. Before hiring him, he was very prompt and quick to follow up via email, phone or text. However since I hired him, he doesn't respond to my emails, calls or texts. Aft...er not receiving a temporary license from DMV for 3 weeks after my arrest I started making queries about the issue to Steven to see what was up. After mailing and calling him several times he responded it is usual for DMV to take long time. I finally decided to call up DMV and find out myself and was told that they never received a request for hearing from my lawyer which was supposed to be received within 10 days of arrest. Since he messed up my case and seeing his unresponsive behavior I decided to fire him. He said I'll receive my refund of the cheque I paid him within 2-3 days. This was 3 weeks ago and I still hadn't heard from him despite my repeated queries to him. After spending no time on my case and having messed up my DMV hearing, he isn't willing to refund my hard earned money which he doesn't deserve. Just goes on to show his integrity and honesty. Absolutely untrustworthy. Save yourself more hassles and avoid him at all costs. You hire a lawyer to save time and hassle. Hiring him will only ensure more waste of time and more hassles.

Mr. Scully recently got my 14-year criminal record expunged, and I absolutely could not have done it without him. In each of our phone conferences and emails, he explained the process of what was being done, and he kept in communication with me. He's a very busy lawyer, so don't expect him to get bac...k with you immediately, but be assured he will respond and provide thorough feedback. Mr. Scully got my conviction expunged by conducting professional research. He discovered a case similar to mine, and that was the key to arguing my case. My experience with Steven's services was nothing short of stellar. Even prior to agreement to enter into a contract, he was quick to respond to my questions and offered consultation (free) over an hour on the phone to answer all my questions pertaining to my case. We went over everything inclusive of... pricing for his services, the terms, etc and so forth and everything was delivered as promised. Highly recommended.

This guy is impossible to work with. Pains me to say it, because he seems nice on the phone...but he's accomplished nothing in the 1.5 years since I paid him in full. My wife has an old arrest record we needed help with, and I met Steve over the phone to discuss the situation. Wasn't a huge deal, but... we needed help making it go away. After dropping $1,000 on his payment, he's pretty much disappeared. I hear from him only if I go CHASE HIM DOWN,.....no updates, no communication, nothing. I know our case is small...but is it that hard just to throw an update over the fence every now and then? It's been since November since I heard from him last ...and today is Feb 3. Avoid him, I'm 90% convinced he took our money with no intention of actually helping our cause. Reporting him to the California Bar tomorrow, no other choice. I would have preferred to have written a great review about how he helped my family. Find someone else who can do the job, and respect you as a paying client
