After a consultation Attorney Helmerick took my case without informing me of my right to reject partition base on personnel jurisdiction and then after 14 months on the case he quit the Bower Law without a word to me. The situation required me to seek a new attorney and try to plead the jurisdictio...n issue; the plea with overruled because of the length that had passed. this action caused me a great deal of $$$$ and will continue to be a problem over the coming months.He was listed on the center county low cost lawyers list for divorce however no mention of divorce law shown on his site.

I was fired at 1:30 am on black friday via text message for my "attitude and actions." I applied for unemployment compensation immediately. I was denied by uc because my boss and his father made up ludicrous stories - completely not what I was told I was being fired for. I contacted Bower Law Associa...tes by phone later that day and explained what was going on to their wonderful receptionist. She said I should meet with Lawyer Helmerich so I made an appt. Later that week, I went into the office (downtown State College, but they have a parking lot, so very convenient!) and met with him for a consultation. I ended up hiring him, and I am so thankful that I did! I met with Lawyer Helmerich again the day before the appeal, and we went over EVERY SCENARIO that could possibly come up. When we went in for the hearing and reviewed my companies file on me, we found more rediculous lies. Lawyer Helmerich got most of the report one thrown out.... this lawyer is very quick to think on his feet. I feel that he won this case for me, hands down! It was great to have him by my side, because I dont think I could've taken being in the same room with my creep of an ex employer by myself! Great knowledge of law, great personality, seems to genuinely care about his clients, and he is extremely smart! THANK YOU LAWYER HELMERICH!
