Sheetal Jankiram Kale

Sheetal J Kale, was a staff attorney appointed to me by the Commission on Human Rights. The business at hand was a civil rights matter, as I, in my opinion, was the victim of racial discrimination, at a place of public accommodation, and had interest in pursuing legal remedies. Her job as my atto...rney, was to review my case, evaluate all components, comment, and if necessary, assist in moving towards a suit, or advise me on other alternatives. To me, she was uninformative, distant, short, and unhelpful. The business's history, my engagements with them, and observations of perceived prejudice, were poorly reviewed, and most allegations, in my opinion , were unjustifiably dismissed. Also, during my deposition, she insinuated, a lack of attractiveness, and poor appearance as being primary causes for abuse, versus any other possibility, which shocked me, as it came off as a personal attack, which could have been misinterpreted. From my perspective, if a case seemed doubtful, which, for the record, the accused establishment closed later on, with fines and other reprimands under their belt, to me, such could have been stated more gracefully. I felt she was unfit as an attorney, and seemed unprofessional, and left with little aid, hope, and no information on other avenues. I don't recommend her.
