Compassion Guaranteed

When I met Shawn I was not in a good place. My employment situation had taken a toll on my mental health and I needed someone who would listen and who could care. I will never forget how much support I felt after our first phone call which is what led to my decision to hire him. Shawn took the time... to listen with compassion, give me time to process and follow-up with empathy as we turned every corner of my case. Shawn was committed to ensure that I was supported through the entire process of my case and he always put my emotional well-being first. My case was filled with peaks and valleys yet through it all, Shawn remained professional, respectful and supportive. The most incredible thing about Shawn was that we were able to have hard conversations and I never felt ashamed or embarrassed to share my story. Shawn was able to share both Plaintiff and Defendant perspectives for my case which assisted in a predictability standpoint. Shawn is fair, responsive and transparent. I highly recommend Shawn Romer for your employment/civil right needs.

Shawn is a great choice

I live out of state and on very short notice I had to hire an attorney to represent me in a non-compete issue filed by a former employer. Everything I had worked for in my sales career was in jeopardy. Shawn became part of a team and made sure my best interests were represented. His long hours and... dedication to represent his client were a major reason the case was settled and my life returned to normal. In my opinion Shawn is an excellent attorney.

"The best praise one lawyer can give another is that he/she refers matters to the other. Having litigated against Shawn, I have no reservations sending potential clients his way. Shawn is a very knowledgeable employment attorney and a strong tactician. While we may disagree when we are on opposite sides, Shawn is never disagreeable."

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I had the great pleasure to work with Mr. Romer on an employment matter recently. He was tough but fair, a worthy adversary. Shawn is a great advocate for his clients with the ability to focus on the truly relevant issues in the case. Shawn does not waste time on trivial issues, which permits him to resolve a case effectively and efficiently. I would recommend Shawn Romer to anyone in need of a labor and employment attorney. I hope to work with him again, either on opposite sides or perhaps as co-counsel on a matter. Very highly recommended."
