I was facing horrible charges for felony child abuse and misdemeanor assualt on a family member. Although Shawn was not the senior partner at the firm he was assigned to my case. I was a little worried at first because I had used the senior guy previously on some restraining order defenses so I had a... history with the other guy. But Shawn proved to be best option after all. He is a true professional and a good listener as others have commented but he is much more. He is a sleeper in the court room. He is kind and soft spoke . He does not come off arrogant or intimidating. He does not make his clients look like they have a high price scumbag lawyer or anything but more like a young cheap lawyer that appears to be non threatening and easily likable by juries and witnesses. He did his research and presented a strong case. He was easily able to get the witnesses comfortable and expose their lies to the jury. He was a true professional and a pleasure to watch him work in the trial. I was found not guilty by the jury in both charges. The jury deliberated in record time and quickly had a not guilty verdict in my case. After court some of the jury even nodded to me and one of my witnesses heard a juror relating to what I had gone through with the false accusations. Shawn is a great lawyer and did not disappoint. I will gladly use them in future for any legal needs I have.
