Biography
Mr. Shaun J. McCleave, Esq. was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida State University in 2005, followed by his Juris Doctor degree from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2015. He was sworn into to the Florida Bar Association in September of the same year.
During his law school career, Mr. McCleave was a member of many prominent organizations, served in leadership capacities, and was selected to represent his university in a multitude of ways. His accomplishments include: being named Marshall of the Phi Alpha Delta Cherry Chapter; participating as an active member of trial advocacy competitions involving extensive in-country travel for various tournaments against notoriously competitive law schools; and serving as a leading team member of Moot Court, Negotiation, and Trial Team competitions.
Mr. McCleave was granted a prestigious externship with the Honorable Judge Mark Lubet, who presides in the Orange County Ninth Circuit Court. This opportunity gave him exposure to numerous trials and challenging questions of law, which he resolved through comprehensive research of statues and case law. His heartfelt passion for Justice and the Law fuels his commitment to his clients to insure that they each receive the attention and representation that their particular case needs.
Mr. McCleave has served the local community as the Parliamentarian for the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association as well as a Legal Panel member of the ACLU Central Florida Chapter. He is committed to making positive changes within the law throughout his home state of Florida.
