Biography
I graduated cum laude from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas with Honors in Psychology in 2001. After graduation I taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grade Language Arts at the Alief Learning Center in Houston, Texas. My students were considered “at-risk” meaning they were instructed to go to the alternative school campus due to behavior problems at their home schools. Although being offered a continued position with the school district, I pursued law school with a goal in mind to reach out to such “at-risk” youth in the future. I attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas and started my law practice in November 2009 serving as a criminal and juvenile defense attorney. Today I accept cases in areas of estate planning, wills, contracts and immigration law. I also consult in all areas of law.
