Absolutely Worthless

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't use this guy!!! He is less than worthless! He charged My husband 3,600 on the very first day. After 2 months he had literally done nothing. The DA reached out to me and said that this attorney had not even filed any emotions for my husband at all with them to shorten any of... the the initial things against him. Such as court mandated restraining order. He got mad at my husband because my husband was calling him once a week to find out what was going on because LITERALLY NOTHING WAS HAPPENING! In the end, my husband would have been so much better off just depending on the public defender. They would have actually gone to bat for him, which this attorney did not at all. Please don't waste any money on this guy! You might as well take your hard-earned cash and flush it down the toilet!

I do not recommend Sean Harrell-Weld County Attorney

Sean didn't respond promptly to my emails or phone calls. Sometimes he didn't respond at all. He did not work in my best interest. He didn't let me know that the court location had changed. And then when I tried to reach him by phone the day of court, 4 of my 6 calls went unanswered. He caused unn...ecessary panic and anxiety. He wasn't prepared when we were in court. He didn't follow through with the Weld County DA on getting the complete request for discovery; pictures, 911 audio, witness statements, police report. Sean was less than honest regarding communicating with me. In my opinion, Sean did not negotiate with the DA for a lesser charge. He took the first thing the DA offered and ran with it. He was 10 minutes late to court. I would not recommend Sean Harrell as an attorney.

Avoid at all cost!

Hired him to help with my defense and his performance was so poor he literally was writing questions down 2 mins before the court case was to begin to ask the plaintiff party. He informed me that he was prepared for the court case but asked plaintiff only 3 questions the whole time. Any experienced l...awyer would have been proactive in the case. Sean was disengaged the the whole time in the court room. After court I never heard from Sean again even though he informed me that he would follow up with me for potential appeal or any additional court action that could have been taken. It took 2 weeks and me calling him to get ahold of him. When I did speak to him he was very rude and told me the phone goes both ways! He stated that he emailed me instead of calling me, even though I never got his email. It took another day and another phone call to get the email he stated he sent about my court case. I received the email on the last day that I could have appealed the court ruling. Later I got another bill from him charging for the court case that lasted only 20 mins! It took another 2 weeks of calling him every other day and leaving messages and talking to his secretary to go over the bill. The bill wasn't itemized and just had an amount to pay and due date. When I asked him why I had to keep calling him he stated your voicemail doesn't work. (Brand new iPhone apparently doesn't receive messages or calls) Worst experience I have ever had with a lawyer! He informed me that it was because I was unhappy with the outcome. I informed him it was due to his lack of lack of work and effort in the case, poor communication and overcharging that resulted in a very poor experience. I would avoid him due to his lack of knowledge in the law, professionalism and rudeness. His inability and indecisiveness show in the court room and its embarrassing.
