I am a startup lawyer in Texas and advise founders in Texas, silicon valley, and India on venture financings and everything before and after (incorporation through exits.)

Having studied law in the U.S. and in India gave me a comparative perspective of the two legal jurisdictions. Having worked on both sides has enriched and broadened my understanding of international business and the law even more.

A decade-long prior work experience working as a private practitioner as well as an in-house counsel taught me to be holistic and pragmatic, focusing on facilitating deal closure instead of wasting a client's time and money in arguing over legalese. This naturally led me to be mentor-minded when advising startup founders.

I earned my Master in Business Laws from Northwestern University, a Certificate in Business Administration from Kellogg (Chicago) and my LL.B. (JD equivalent) from Symbiosis Law School, India. Law school was a great experience for me, but there is so much that I wish I knew about pursuing the legal career. As a result, alongside work, I've been mentoring and guiding other law students by sharing my perspective and experiences.
