Sarah Hoffman

We paid Ms. Hoffman $2000 in August 2018 to handle a simple probate case (no spouse, no kids, no property other than cash). In the year since, she has failed to respond to emails and voicemails, often for many weeks or even months at a time. The first probate hearing was canceled the day before; I on...ly discovered the date for the rescheduled hearing because I HAPPENED to look it up on the county court website (it was a few days before). She didn't even call or email to provide me with the rescheduled date. We FINALLY had the probate hearing April 15, 2019. After that, she promised to send the final forms the heirs need to sign as well as final instructions to close the probate. As of today, August 19, she STILL has not responded with final instructions on what we need to do to close this out. I have no idea if the legal notifications went out to newspapers and have no idea what the next steps should be. It has been over four months since the probate hearing and she has ignored multiple emails and voicemails. She only responded once about a month ago, saying she was out of town and that she would send the forms when she gets back. I still have heard nothing from her despite several additional emails. I am apalled at her lack of professionalism and downright rudeness in refusing to answer emails and phone calls in a timely manner.

We met with Sarah nov 29,2018 for the first time and hired her that day to do both my husband and my wills. We paid her in full on that day ($3,200). We met in March to sign the documents but unfortunately Sarah notary stamp was broken so we didn't receive the final documents that day. We texted... and called many times and she committed to get them to us in a few weeks. It is August first tomorrow and still no final documents and (0) response from her to our last several attempt s to contact her. We are so frustrated With this unethical behavior, we just want a refund. We also conveyed that in our last text to her.
